My Valentine's Day presents arrived during the day and were waiting for me when I got home from the dentist last night. The main prize was a completely unexpected delight - a hardback copy of:
And as well there was a DVD of "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy" (current release version), which will go just nicely with the DVD of the 1980s BBC series with Alec Guinness and Ian Richardson (why is he always the bad guy?) I received from Santa.
I can see the couch, some red wine, a slice of ripe St Agur and I have a date for this Saturday night.
