The new season is here, the new season is here!

The details of the 2013-2014 season for the Opera de Paris was put online today. There truly is an embarrassment of riches with many of the standards of the Italian repertoire (Aida, Boheme, Traviata, Lucia di Lammermoor) as well as some exotica (Puritani, Italiana in Algeri) - all told seventeen of the nineteen productions I would happily go see with no reservation. Roberto Alagna is in two productions (Alceste and Werther). Happy as a pig in shit.
