Snow Day Blues
The cold spell that arrived at the beginning of the month and brutally terminated the very mild winter we had been experiencing up to that point generated its first snowfall this weekend - about 5 cms fell overnight and left a lovely powdery snowy mantle, fun for those of us who didn't have to go anywhere in it.
This idyll was however quickly ruined when a wonderful, responsible French driver skidded on the road and into the back of my parked car, then took off without having the decency to leave even his (I am fairly confident it was a he) contact details. Outstanding.
